Tarifs and Bookings for the Gite

 1. Rental price for the Gite (2023)

Prices per week per season

All rentals

Include: Water, gas central heating, electricity, wood for the fire place except during the summer period (from June to September included).

Exclude:

• As of the 1st of January, every adult visitor will need to pay for Taxe de Séjour (Stay Tax) of a value of 1,65€ per adult per night. Payment will be collected separately from the rental.
• It is required that the gite be clean at the end of your stay. In the case of the property being in a worse state of cleanliness on departure, a fee of 40,00€ will be charged to you.
• Bed linen and kitchen towels are included in the price although any requested change of linen during your stay will be charged at a fee of 5,00€ per bed.

• Any extra wood will be charged at a fee of 75,00€ per meter cube.

2. Bookings

i – The rental period shall commence at 16.00 hours on the first day and finish at 10 a.m. on the last day. For short stays, please provide us with your approximative time of arrival and departure when booking so we can organise your stay as best we can.

ii – To book your stay, please call us on 06.43.27.57.68 (from outside France +33.6.43.27.57.68) or email us at mb.gites@gmail.com .

iii – After receiving either your phone call or email, we will email you your booking contract which must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt and include a down-payment of 25% of the price rental. This payment is non-refundable.

iv – Confirmation of your booking will be returned to you after your first payment has been cleared by our bank.

v – The remainder of the rental cost will need to be paid 30 days prior to your arrival.

vi – A security deposit of 300,00€ will be requested on your arrival. It will be posted back to you 72 hours after your departure if everything is well after the inventory.

vii – On booking a copy of your Travel Insurance will be required.

viii – Any problems or issues regarding any booking will be treated on a case per case basis.

3. Payments

• by cheque from a French bank
• by Bank transfer (bank charges will be at your own cost)
• in cash in Euros
• by ‘Chèques Vacances’ and if necessary the difference paid in cash

Any bank charges will be at your own cost.

4. Insurance

The use of the property and its content is at your own risk. We duly recommend, to this effect, that the you acquire an insurance policy covering the entirety of the risks involved in the rental and stay, including cancellation costs, as they will not be covered by the owner’s insurance policy.
